Starting Your Cycle and Pregnancy
Begin by completing the surrogate application. If you meet the basic requirements, further verification will be conducted to ensure that surrogacy is safe for you and the child. This includes a review of your medical records and a psychological evaluation to assess mental and emotional preparedness. Subsequently, a background check and home visit will be performed to confirm that your living environment is conducive to a healthy pregnancy.
We use a unique, highly customized matching process to handpick an intended parents' profile. Your profile is also shared with them for review. If everyone agrees, a video match meeting will be arranged to confirm the official match. Both you and the intended parents must undergo medical tests to detect communicable diseases, with a urine drug screen included. Upon receiving medical clearance, you will complete a surrogacy agreement, guided by a Surrogate Attorney who ensures your rights and interests are protected.
After signing the surrogacy agreement, you'll receive an estimated transfer schedule from the IVF clinic, detailing IVF medication instructions and monitoring appointments to prepare your body for embryo transfer. Following a successful transfer, attend local clinics for pregnancy confirmations with beta tests and ultrasounds. Transition to regular OBGYN care by week 10. In the third trimester, a birth plan will be devised, and the legal process for "parental establishment" will name the intended parents as the legal guardians.

Surrogate Compensation
As a surrogate with Joyful Family Surrogacy, you will receive a total compensation package ranging from $50,000 to $100,000, depending on factors such as experience, geographic location, insurance, and more. In addition to the base compensation, you may also receive extra benefits for situations such as multiples and C-sections.
Your base fee is paid in nine monthly installments, starting with the confirmation of the heartbeat, which typically occurs around sixth weeks of pregancy. However, you will also receive compensation for earlier milestones, including transfers, medical screenings and the signing of your contract.
